Welcome to the Olde Mill Bardsea - "The Place To Be Beside The Sea"

The Olde Mill is idyllically situated on the Coast Road (A5087), between the traditional market town of Ulverston and Barrow in Furness. It enjoys
unrivalled views across Morecambe Bay to the Lancashire Coastline. This view taking in the Flookburgh and Grange over Sands peninsula to
Lancaster, Morecambe, Heysham and the Pennine hills dominated by the flat topped Ingleborough, the best known of Yorkshire's three peaks.

The Olde Mill is owned by the Barlow Family, who also established the  Farm Shop, Baycliffe in 1987. www.farmshopbaycliffe.co.uk. The Farm Shop supplies all meats and bakery goods to the Olde Mill, and supplies outside catering to venues in the Furness and South Lakeland area.

At Bardsea the Barlow family, Martin, Helen and their daughter Nicola are able to offer a new dimension to the family business. With over 20 years experience in catering and organising Weddings in the Furness area guests get a
personal service, with Helen and Nicola offering a wealth of knowledge to anyone arranging an event.

The Olde Mill is open every Sunday - serving a traditional Sunday lunch and snack menu from 12 noon till 3pm, and is available 7 days a week for
private functions of 10 or more guests. Please either call in or telephone us to discuss your requirements.

We cater for functions of all sizes Weddings, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Christenings, Funerals, Fund raisers, Christmas Parties etc. - up to a maximum of 240 people. The Olde Mill is divided into three areas, - our welcoming bar area with limestone fireplace and bar and beamed ceiling. Our Mill room - overlooking Morecambe Bay, with its oak floor - ideal for dancing the night away, and our elegant dining room. All rooms can be open for your event, or closed off to make a more intimate atmosphere.

We are fully licensed for Civil Ceremonies, our Mill Room suite holds a
maximum of 80 guests, with its wooden floor and vaulted ceiling
overlooking the Bay, this is a beautiful venue for your ceremony. If your
numbers exceed this; our Morecambe Bay suite holds a maximum
120 guests.

Sean and Shirley offer work by local artists, and a variety of prints, as well as a picture framing service.
